I've seen non-US sets (without piece counts) at ZanyBrainy and KB retail
stores.
(I got a European 8480 Technic shuttle at ZB and saw some non-US model
team sets at KB)

The best is the Legoland brochure that I got in a European 6091 ..
haven't seen anything like it in US sets, unless you count the Legoland
CA ad in the 2000 catalog.. no separate brochure, though.
