I just ordered two 6441 sets.  I was a bit puzzled to see that the piece count,
which the LUGNET database lists as 433, was *not* on the outside of the box as
I'm used to seeing.  Both boxes were the same -- no piece count.  So, TLG broke
the law?

Possibly the fact that you got them from S@H makes a difference.  Since it's not
a traditional retail store, it may not be bound by the same laws.  Or no one is
enforcing a good law in a silly circumstance.

Did you enjoy the non-North American catalog in the sets?

(...) I've seen non-US sets (without piece counts) at ZanyBrainy and KB retail stores. (I got a European 8480 Technic shuttle at ZB and saw some non-US model team sets at KB) (...) The best is the Legoland brochure that I got in a European 6091 .. (...) (25 years ago, 3-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)
