Which recent sets contain yellow Classic 1x2x2 windows? —Jonathan Reynolds
Does anybody know which recent sets include the 1x2x2 classic window in yellow? (by recent I mean something that can still be found in the shops). I need this part (or something similar) to replicate cab windows on the ends of locomotives - these (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Which recent sets contain yellow Classic 1x2x2 windows? —Daniel Wayne Poole
Jon, when parts packs (or service packs) first became available in the late 70's or early 80's one of the first items was a "Police" parts pack containing 3 yellow windows like you just described. Of course this doesn't help you since it was dropped (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Which recent sets contain yellow Classic 1x2x2 windows? —Gary R. Istok
(...) 1976 Police set #585 had 11 of these yellow windows, probably the most in any set. Basic set #517 had 2, and several of the 1970's Shell sets had a few as well. But there are a few other basic sets in the last 15 years that had these. And then (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Which recent sets contain yellow Classic 1x2x2 windows? —Tom Stangl
Incorrect. I bought some Freestyle set within the last year that had at least 2 2x2 yellow classic windows in it, because I had 4 of them (before trading them away). The stores around here really don't HAVE any old Lego, so that set had to have been (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

The Classic 5+ box that was part of the WalMart ~$30 christmas bundle has two 1 x 2 x 2 windows in red. This box is marked with the number 4222. I'd mention where one is up on auction, but this not being the auction group, I'd probably get my wrist (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Which recent sets contain yellow Classic 1x2x2 windows? —Gary R. Istok
(...) Not in North America! Actually not anywhere in the world..... (on a technicality) because the 1x2x1 (along with the 1x1x2 and 1x1x1) were never in any parts pack. They were only ever in 60's and 70's (and maybe an early 80's) sets (usually (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Which recent sets contain yellow Classic 1x2x2 windows? —Gary R. Istok
(...) Sorry Eric, I should have been more specific. I meant in YELLOW. The small sizes (1x1x2, 1x2x1, 1x1x1) were only ever available in parts packs in red and white. Never in yellow. And the only parts pack that ever had the 1x2x2 in yellow was a (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)
