Here in NoVA it's pretty much the same as SV, and I'm in the internet/software
industry too. When I look at a resume', I couuld care less about their
hobbies and interests, I'm looking for skills and experience.
I use the interview to assess their personality and communication skills.
Just about anything is fair game to bring up in an interview, but you have
to play it as you see it. Certainly if you see LEGO in the interviewers
office you shoulud bring it up.
