I just got back from the opening of the LEGO outlet store in VA. It's a great store run by some really nice people. They did give out "November 19, 1999" Bricks, and most of us got several. There were at least 10 people from WAMALUG there, and I (...) (25 years ago, 19-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Do the bricks really say "November 19, 1999" or is it just "November 1999". If so, that's cool and must be printed much smaller than the October bricks! Hi Everyone, I just called the new Lego store to ask if orders can be taken over the phone and shipped. The answer was no. The lady I spoke with said that the store does not have the capability to provide that service. She suggested I call the (...) (25 years ago, 20-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

I called the store just now and it is true--Buffie has a really winning attitude. She is working out UPS account details right now. I asked to reserve a pair of train cars, 2126. There were only 4 left out of 200! She asked if I wanted anything (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

I too called and spoke to Buffie. She has to be one of the nicest people I've ever spoken too! I reserved the last 2126. I hope she can pull this off! Is there a chance of any of you local folks getting a more comprehensive list of what they have (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)
