Re: Batman fig in background of Sept/Oct lego club mag

(...) You're very welcome! I checked out that link and thought that the site was excellent. The Fantastic Four vs. Galactus scene was particularly nice IMO. If you're interested, there's been a discussion of the new MegaBloks/Marvel license deal in (...) (22 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) Hi Bruce (good to be back on Lugnet and see a familiar 'face') Very fast link digging out... That is the exact fig (the 'splodge' on the right bat wing is the same). Thanks for clearing that up... God Bless, Nathan (22 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

I just created this folder and will store some town plan images here: (URL) Here are the deep links until moderation: (5 URLs) There are many variations of the european and UK versions but I will leave that up to Gary (...)   Re: Batman fig in background of Sept/Oct lego club mag

Hey, This has come up before. In another LEGO maq there were some custom figs by a LEGO employee in a crowd scene (I think they had a Thor fig). I would not read anything into this other than that the LEGO employee is also a fan and a fig customizer (...) (22 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Batman fig in background of Sept/Oct lego club mag

(...) Well, Batman is a DC character, so a LEGO/Marvel license wouldn't give them any rights to Batman or Superman et al. However, Minimates does have both a DC and Marvel license (among many others). Is it possible that the figure you saw wasn't (...) (22 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Jake Chat II - Transcript

(...) This has actually been happening on FBTB.net (Ask LEGO Forum) for several years. And yes, the questions have dwindled over time. Jake --- Jake McKee Community Liaison LEGO Community Development (22 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Jake Chat II - Transcript

(...) Hi, I really like this idea, it's very similar to what I was thinking. Perhaps something like 2 weeks to submit questions, a few days for an admin to edit and mash together similar questions, and then 2 weeks to vote on your favorites. Then, (...)   Re: Jake Chat II - Transcript

(...) Hi Jake! I believe a chat has a strong appeal due to it's interactive nature, and people like to be able to have a conversation with somebody in a position like yours. However, while reading the posts in this thread and reflecting on the chat, (...) (22 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) Agree. Save the spontaneous discussion for one on one bull sessions where no one is scribing so your words can't get twisted around... (1) This moves you more in the direction of a PR flack, which is not much fun, so do the scripted questions (...) (22 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) snip (...) Submitting questions in advance would be fine with me - I'd rather have the best information than the quickest information. Perhaps a monthly poll could be held to determine the questions most in need of answering. I'd like to see a (...) (22 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Jake Chat II - Transcript

(...) Another "unofficial" response: I think we can all make the general inference that the sets were at once ordered and structured. Lego itself is too disorganized, it doesn't know its right hand from its left, therefore, you have a disorganized (...) (22 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)
