Re: Jake did good - Other Quality Issues

(...) I've had this problem and it gets worse the more weight you put on the wheelsets (it's awful with 8mm:1ft scale trains as the trains are twice the weight of 6-wide ones). I've had to modify quite a few wheelsets as a workaround. I too am (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Reasons for the color change

(...) Have people seen those boards they make out of recycled plastic for benches and stuff? What color do they have, with all those colors mixed in? A sort of bluish grey. It didn't occur to me at first how likely of an explanation this was. Not (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.general)

Lego seems to be copying Mega Blocks

But they only seem to be copying the bad stuff (for the most part anyway) Lego seems to be copying Mega Blocks colors (c.f. the new greys) and also Mega Blocks quality (c.f. the talk about poorer quality parts) But they dont copy the good stuff :( (...)
