I AGREE THAT NEW COLORS ARE GREAT BUT REPLACING CURRENT COLORS IS A BAD IDEA. Ralph Döring, 32 I really liked the introduction of very light grey in the LEGO mosaic. And to give illustration to the phrase, should that be the British "grey" or the American "gray"? :-) Jake has used a somewhat perjorative rendering of the no-longer-current gray as "muddy". Well I just got off the phone with Consumer Affairs. I approached them not as an AFOL, but as a father of a 7yr old. I explained that I purchased a metroliner for my son previously and now see news on-line from Lego that the brick colors won't be (...) (22 years ago, 21-Nov-03, to lugnet.general) !

Jake, Thank-you for your response. But this situation is positively ludicrous. Color standards are every bit a part of the Lego system as stud diameter, etc..
