Has anyone noticed an increase in missing or malfored pieces in the newer sets? Within the past two weeks I've found the following: - minifig head in Space Port bonus pack missing face - 5 light gray 1x1 bricks missing from Flying Ninja Fortress I (...) (26 years ago, 10-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

Nothing can ever replace the original, but there is a demand for, a market for and thus potential profit in releasing a classic series. If TLG just monitored this network, they could formulate a group of sets to produce. Based on the demand of (...) (26 years ago, 10-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

I've read discussion about the desire for reissues of various sets, (apparently) especially the classic space sets. The only problem (other than Lego not doing it ;) seems to be that it would be bad for collectors, who would lose the value invested (...) (26 years ago, 10-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

They're called slizers in the UK as well. Oddly, our catalogue has two pages about them, but doesn't show any pictures of any of the sets at all. It just says the Slizer are coming. There's also no Mindstorms in our catalogue, although both Slizers (...) (26 years ago, 10-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)
