  FOTW - Check Big KMart

Hello to all. I was in the Big KMart near my house this evening, and spotted two Technic 8022 sets on the shelf. (These are from 93-94, I think). They were stickered at $14.59, but I've been in enough KMarts with old stock to know better than (...) (26 years ago, 14-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Advice for trip to Billund?

My advice for your trip to Billund is double check to make sure the outside areas of the park are open, as the official opening date seems to change from year to year. I think the outside part opens last weekend in March or first in April. Yes, (...) (26 years ago, 21-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Advice for trip to Billund?

I visited in 1989, and took what was supposed to be a day trip out of Hamburg, Germany. Because of the train ride into Denmark and bus trip from the train station to Legoland, we knew our time at the park would be somewhat short. We took the (...) (26 years ago, 21-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Advice for trip to Billund?

(...) Forbid yourself from going overbudget. I made that mistake when I went to Windsor (not Billund, but it still applies) When you hit the store at the end, definately buy things you can't get at home, but don't just buy things because you're (...) (26 years ago, 21-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

  Advice for trip to Billund?

Hi there. I am planning a trip to Europe in April, and plan on visiting Brussells and Amsterdam. I would also like to talk my traveling companion into a day (or two) detour to Legoland Billund. Can anyone who has been there in the past, or done (...) (26 years ago, 21-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: TLG is loosing money!

(...) In that case, why doesn't TLG make one or two Jr. sets in every theme? That way, young children wouldn't just be limited to Town. And leave non-Jr. sets alone. I don't mind the existence of Town Jr. as much as I mind the loss of (...) (26 years ago, 20-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: TLG is loosing money!

I was interested to see the topic of Brio trains come up during this thread. My son (just turned four) was big into Brio trains for about 18-24 months. He stopped playing with them when he was three. I am not sure why his interest wained but they (...) (26 years ago, 20-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)
