Like the great Holy bag mystery here is another strange Lego observation. Why do MiniFig legs have such long studs on top to attatch them to bodies? What's wrong with Normal Studs? sure they'd be a bit weaker but it works OK for the witch minifig. (...) (26 years ago, 13-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

I agree that TLG is spreading itself too thin. The CD games are marginable from what I've read about problems installing and playing them. Z-Nap is a flailing attempt to debunk Kinex (something they have always wanted to do). TLG should just stick (...) (26 years ago, 12-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

The subject is under discussion in lugnet.build, which I would posit as a better group. The 1x1 with side stud is capable of changing direction in just slightly larger than 1x2 brick space.
