  Re: LEGO Foosball table

(...) Yeah just like in the comics *ting!!* ...10 minutes and a few snaps later. (...) If you are lucky and have some 4763's(old jetpack) it could help a bit. Thread in the grooves may slow the missalignment too. Kicks a ball clean across the room (...) (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.build, lugnet.gaming)

(...) any case, nice work!!! (...) LOL! I guess you've shown that it wouldn't be necessary. Cool! (Notwithstanding, I wouldn't mind drilling Timmies and Jar-Jars.) --Todd (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.build, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: LEGO Foosball table

(...) Check out these pics Todd, just a suggestion for a mini table. Somewhat modular and Lineup may need to be "Dressed" before next play [/:-) (URL) Drilling, poor things. Best DaveG (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.build, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: LEGO Foosball table

(...) I probably won't ever do this (too expensive and time-consuming) but I thought it would be fun to think about. Drilling holes in the torsos would probably work (eek! :-), if you've seen the experiments that Paul Gyugyi did with his Hexatron (...)   RE: LEGO Foosball table

(...) Well, The axles don't have to range freely across the board, so if you're willing to GLUE them to axle connectors, you could make them any length you want, but the range would be limited by the longest axle. (12 LU I think) But how are you (...) (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.build, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: LEGO Foosball table

Sounds sweet, I wish I had the income to buy more legos and stuff. Im thinking I might start selling mecha sets that I make my self. Cya! (...) (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.build, lugnet.gaming)

  LEGO Foosball table

What would it take to build a little Foosball table out of LEGO elements? Let's say it used the Football/Soccer ball and maybe include some of the minifigs. For the bars and knobs, could Technic axles be used and extended at key points where the (...) (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.build, lugnet.gaming)

  Bayonet - possible solution

I may have a solution for the bayonet dilemma. I took a 1x1 plate with top clip and attached it to a musket. Then took a cutlass and shaved just a smidge off the side of the guard so that it would wedge into the hole under the 1x1. And I mean a (...)   Re: A Tale of Two Pities at Studfest 2000: Part the Fourth

(...) Yet again a superb and remarkably accurate document of a mighty battle. Well done Richard! I'll try to assemble some troops, peasants, wildlife and buildings for the next battle -- any ideas on what is still required? --DaveL (24 years ago, 25-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.gaming)

Re: The world's largest BrikWars battle?

(...) That sounds like a challenge to me. I think we have our next battle scenario Adrian. <Bwhuhuhahahahahahah...ahahahaha> (...) Well, that's something then isn't it? Thanks, Gino A... (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.gaming)

Re: The world's largest BrikWars battle?

(...) Wow! What a game! (...) I'm pretty sure the biggest battles prior to this have been run by the Australians (see one of their writeups at (URL) ), but I don't know what their numbers were or even if they kept track of CP. They've definitely got (...) (24 years ago, 20-Sep-00, to lugnet.gaming)

  The world's largest BrikWars battle?

I finally completed the writeup for the BrikWars battle between Gino and myself on September 3-4, 2000. Yes, it took two days, and if we wanted to continue the fight until one side was wiped out, it probably would've been another day. Each side had (...) (24 years ago, 20-Sep-00, to lugnet.gaming)

  Re: RPG PBEM

It would be pretty nice. The only problem is that I don't have a digital camera and very little medieval pieces. Oh well, it'd be pretty cool. (24 years ago, 20-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: RPG PBEM

Thanks for all the help, guys... I really liked Will's page, btw. While I must admit I am a little iffy when it comes to mixing 'technology' or even magic into a historical medieval world, I really liked the quest for the crystals series; I think (...)   Re: RPG PBEM

(...) It can be a lot of fun to try and work with another persons creations. This is what makes RPGs so much fun. Of course a full shared universe is very difficult to pull off well (which is why the shared universe fiction of the 80s has mostly (...) (24 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: RPG PBEM

I don't know though, my characters are pretty stuck in (...) (24 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: RPG PBEM

(...) This certainly is an interesting idea, though I think the Castle World efforts may be more interesting overall. RPG writeups rarely read very well (though if written to highlight a few interesting events can be pretty interesting, but it is (...) (24 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.gaming)
