Am I the only one ?................... —Jonathan McKay
Hello, I'm 12, and it seems as if I'm the only minor in all of lugnet. I know there's Shiri but is there anybody else who's a teenager or kid. Futhermore do we "JRFOLS" actually make up a percentage of lugnet's participants/members? or am I the only (...) (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.faq)

Re: Am I the only one ?................... —Erin Windross
(...) Hi, Don't worry, I'm thirteen years old. As far as I know, there are hardly any teenagers on Lugnet. We are a rare species ;-) Erin -- (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.faq)

Re: Am I the only one ?................... —Greg Majewski
(...) What? What? Another one of my species? Huzzah! I'm 15 by the way, and I call myself an AFOL without a second thought. JRFOLs are not the type found here. Greg "You mean to tell me the mark on the inside of the pretzel oven is Shamu?" Majewski (...) (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.faq)

Re: Am I the only one ?................... —Nicholas Fezie
I have been lurking on this site for about a year now and I'm only 16. I would guess (this is a ballpark estimate) that about a fifth of the people on LUGNET are 18 or younger at least. And on a side note, I didn't know you were only 15 Greg, now I (...) (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.faq)

Re: Am I the only one ?................... —Mikohl Moree
(...) Well Jonathan, I've got news, I'm a minor too! I'm 13 and love Lugnet. Don't feel left out of events here, you are just as free as anyone that uses this website.         Re: Am I the only one ?................... —Nick Crocco
(...) What what what??? I, Nick Crocco, am of the ripe old age of 17. :-) Yeah, it doesn't seem as though there are very many of us minors out there... We should start a "JRFOLS" section of Lugnet. That'd be cool :-) I too have been on Lugnet for (...) (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.faq)

Re: Am I the only one ?................... —Chris Maddison
(...) I totally agree, Tim. AFOL, IMO, defines people who create with lego, not just play with it. If that makes any sense at all. Just tossing my bit into the pot. -Chris (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.faq)

Re: Am I the only one ?................... —Chris Maddison
I may as well join in on the fun...I'm 18, so I still qualify as a teenager, yes? There's a lot of us younger folk on LUGNET, although among you all, it seems that me, Tim(18), and Leah(19) are the old-timers. Any other geezers of the teen crowd out (...)       $10-$20 a week, man when I was a kid I was lucky to get $20 a year to buy Lego. Now that I am all growed up an married I get a little more, but I must emphasize little. Budgeting is the key, but man how can you pass up an $80 set for $20 on (...) (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.faq)

Re: Am I the only one ?................... —Shiri Dori
(...) How?... well, if you're a teenager, it's pretty simple; you just *don't* have the money. Heh.    (...) Thankyou so much for posting. I'm fourteen, but I never said it in case no-one else was. I guess what defines us from other people our age who play with Lego is we look at it from an adult point of view, if you see what I mean. For example, (...) (24 years ago, 8-Oct-00, to lugnet.faq)
