  Raccoon Mask Types and Names

Starting at the beginning... Looking at my box of figures, trying to decipher which ones are older based on some new info I read on Sybrand Bonsma's UFHP relayed to him by Henriette Hoffmann-Schläger, I noticed that I had 2 Raccoons with yellow (...) (22 years ago, 17-Feb-03, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: a wandering mind . . .

(...) I was thinking of an Art or History museum, but I'm taken with the idea of a Museum of Transportation now that you mention it. <snip> (...) Yeah, those would be great. <snip> (...) Thanks Sheree, I'm looking forward to some interesting (...) (22 years ago, 17-Feb-03, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: a wandering mind . . .

(...) size? (...) My problem with the giraffe and the ostrich is that there indeed has to be some neck. It doesn't have to be too large, but it should be visible. The giraffe might still be recognisable without neck by using a yellow color and brown (...) (22 years ago, 13-Feb-03, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: New 2003 Belville Sets

(...) It's got a pair of blue? Fabuland posts! (...) I like the coloring of 5862 baseplate better than 5858. (...) I am wondering if they even attach to the figure directly. Could they be attached to the figure via the clothing? (...) have a safe (...) (22 years ago, 13-Feb-03, to lugnet.belville, lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: a wandering mind . . .

(...) Great minds think alike- Sybrand Bonsma also noted this. I tend to get carried away with dreaming and often overlook whether something is physically plausible. (...) A Beagle, or some sort of dog with ears that hang down, I think would have (...) (22 years ago, 13-Feb-03, to lugnet.fabuland)

Re: Banished to .fabuland - for today - ......like Milton said ..."its better too....."

(...) Re the subject line.... after I stopped laughing (which took a while) I wondered... "why Fabuland? Why is being banished here punishment? :-) " After all, where else are you going to meet so many cool talking animals? ++Lar (hoping no one gets (...) (22 years ago, 13-Feb-03, to lugnet.fabuland)

Re: Banished to .fabuland - for today - ......like Milton said ..."its better too....."

Hey, how about a Fabuland themed moonbase module, Frank, I think you could do it. Heck, I'm liking this, if you don't want to do it I may hit somebody up to loan me the Fabuland folk and I'll do it. I got some duplo figs, think that'd work? Snow (...) (22 years ago, 13-Feb-03, to lugnet.fabuland)

Re: Banished to .fabuland - for today - ......like Milton said ..."its better too....."

(...) welcome! As already posted, Sybrand Bonsma is the Ultimate Authority on Fabuland. We are a motley crew here and tend to hibernate. I am prone to get a stick and poke everyone from time to time just to make sure others still exist... uh, please (...) (22 years ago, 12-Feb-03, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: a wandering mind . . .

(...) I don't think of Fabuland figures as being that based in reality. Where else but Fabuland might one find a Rabbit and an Elephant pretty much the same size? However, with a giraffe and an ostrich, a main part of what defines them is a long (...) (22 years ago, 12-Feb-03, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: a wandering mind . . .

(...) Bingo! what other squirrel do you know that wears a hat? sheree :-) (22 years ago, 12-Feb-03, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: a wandering mind . . .

  Re: a wandering mind . . .

(...) how wonderful! (...) please do. I will look forward to hearing all about it. sheree (22 years ago, 12-Feb-03, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: a wandering mind . . .

(...) Sounds wonderful to me! Minus the hats, this could be built now? [stage setting , me on a soapbox...] I guess one of the things I want to say/convey to everyone is that as builders we can take Fabuland anywhere we want. Anywhere! While there (...)   Re: New 2003 Belville Sets

(...) Hmm, looking at these closer... 5856: Is that a trans purple hinge brick? 5857: wow, that's a bonanza of Belville accessories. 5858: I think I'm going to like the new baseplate. 5859: Looks like some nice bits. 5861: With a name like "Fairy (...)   Re: Banished to .fabuland - for today - ......like Milton said ..."its better too....."

(...) I'd say Sybrand Bonsma is the guru (as already mentioned), but Sheree Rosekrantz is another active Fabulander. I keep threatening a Fabuland mouse and walrus crew for the Pirate Game... (Ive got enough crew, though they'll have a harder time (...) (22 years ago, 12-Feb-03, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: New 2003 Belville Sets

(...) All of them are available to Denmark now (12th of February). In one of the medium sets, 5857, there are 2 parrots, 1 white and 1 light blue (I hadn't noticed that from the pictures). Arne, Copenhagen (22 years ago, 12-Feb-03, to lugnet.belville, lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: a wandering mind . . .

(...) Don't know why, but the fact that these two animals kept being lumped together just made me giggle. I just keep hearing "moose and squirrel" in the voice of Boris from Rocky and Bullwinkle. Matt (22 years ago, 12-Feb-03, to lugnet.fabuland)
