  Re: BrickFest Update 5/29

(...) I have a 590 Engine Co. 9, complete with box, instructions, and sticker sheet with only one sticker used which I would like to bring. I also have a 588 Police Station to bring.   BrickFest Update 5/29

NEWS: A master builder from LEGO Shows & Events group will be attending BrickFest. For those of you that attended last year we have planned a completely different layout. I'll be putting the floor maps up as soon as they are finished. Last year we (...) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.announce, lugnet.build, lugnet.fun.community) !

  Re: BrickWars and BrickFest!

  Re: BrickWars and BrickFest!

John Kornhaus and I were dicussing this last week. We came up with the following proposal, which is not set in stone yet: 1. At least one fairly big game, probably for more experienced players. John's great idea for this was a "spaceship battle". (...) (24 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  BrickWars and BrickFest!

...Who is going to help out running the BrickWars games at BrickFest 2001? There is interest both in a Castle/low-tech/fantasy themed battle as well as a space/sci-fi/hi-tech themed event and I want to make sure we talk things through now rather (...)   Re: BrickFest 2001

(...) Yes, I agree, that would be helpful. A castle BrikWars would be a lot of fun, but it'd be good to know ahead of time (so we can plan the "Gathering"'s times around it). And people will want to get their armies ready no matter what the theme. (...) (24 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest 2001

Hi, I was wondering when the themes of the brikwars battles would be decided. Since I may not be able to come for all of the days, I'd like to know which battle I would be more interested in participating in (I am more of a space guy). Any (...)   Safety of the area (was: Re: the Hilton, cheap!/ Comfort Inn free parking)

Re: the Hilton, cheap!/ Comfort Inn free parking

I checked prices for the bus. If purchasing 14 days in advance, I got a quote of $45 round trip Boston > Arlington > Boston. I know that seems imposibly cheap, but it's true. Takes 12 hours and has 2 changeovers. Arlington bus stop is 3.5 miles from (...) (24 years ago, 21-May-01, to lugnet.events.brickfest)
