Is it a trick of the light, or do the 1x4 bricks between the wheels have two
shades of purple within a single brick?  If so, I would imagine that LEGO
Customer Service would consider at least this a problem. You might be able to
get replacement bricks of a consistent (though unpredictable) shade of purple.

Maybe having new brown and greys isn't so bad, if they keep to one shade of each
new color.  But this consolation rankles on a toy so much more expensive than
the competition.
