  Re: Double sided plate

(...) Are these plates or bricks? My experience indicates that a stud is slightly taller than half the width of a plate. Hence, a double female connector has to be taller than a plate, I believe. To verify my experience above, try to put a plate (...) (23 years ago, 1-Oct-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) flat (...) a (...) I have a dozen or so 2x2 double-female and a few 2x2 double-male pieces that I believe to be TYCO. I call them gender-changers and find them very useful. There is also a 1x1 round double-male piece which is handy to have, (...) (23 years ago, 1-Oct-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Double sided plate

(...) That's precisely why you won't seen them from TLC anytime soon. If Ritvik has them, Ritvik owns the patent--just as they can't make a given LEGO element for a certain number of years (30?) TLC won't be able to make this element until it's the (...) (23 years ago, 30-Sep-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Double sided plate

(...) Don't forget they also make the opposite: a 2x2 plate with stud holes on both sides. Both pieces are wonderfully useful, and while I build pure, I admit to having gazed at them longingly. Rick Clark (23 years ago, 30-Sep-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: new dark red pieces in the Blockade Runner

I spotted this on brickshelf - I don't think there will be enough dark-red bricks to warrant buying this kit in multiples... (URL) white, lots of white.... (...) (23 years ago, 25-Sep-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  juniorisation thoughts

I noticed on LEGO's opinion page that lots of the people say cheeper legos, no wonder why we have this darned juniorisation! I'm glad to see the better colors in bulk sets, but it seems like some are dissapearing now! I like these bulk sets, please (...) (23 years ago, 24-Sep-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: new dark red pieces in the Blockade Runner

(...) Seconded. This color's WAY better for buildings than Sand Red (unless you LIKE little pink houses... not that there's anything wrong with that!) (23 years ago, 24-Sep-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

new dark red pieces in the Blockade Runner

I just wanted to say I hope that this new color shows up in the Bulk Bricks section of Shop at Home - just like the 'sand red' bricks did... JohnG, GMLTC (23 years ago, 24-Sep-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: US S@H Specials, Sep 19 - Sep 25, 2001

Is anyone aware of changes to LEGO's Shop at Home customer service that would account for the fact that when I tried to call today and place an order I ended up speaking with a guy who had never heard of the weekly Shop at Home specials? In fact, he (...) (23 years ago, 20-Sep-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: S@H in Portugal

(...) Thank you, Kate and Jake. I had noticed that France had been added, so I feared that Lego had forgotten us. But now I realize it is just a question of time until we can use the web shop. We are really looking forward to do it! ;-) Pedro (23 years ago, 18-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.pt, lugnet.dear-lego)

  S@H in Portugal

Hi, I'm just posting this here hoping someone can assist me... Here in Portugal we have been told that Shop at Home would be available in mid-summer this year, but the summer is ending and not even the new catalogues have hit the stores. Has TLG (...)   Re: How about advertising LEGO on cars?

(...) The LEGO Company are probably very cautious about where they put their logo.   How about advertising LEGO on cars?
