Castle World - The Isle of Mist —Chris Maddison
Fellow denizens of Castle World, We are proud to bring you The Isle of Mist. But first, some things you should know about this fabled island: We've decided to do it in realtime. This means starting from the day you make and take pictures/post about (...) (23 years ago, 5-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle, lugnet.announce) !!

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist —James Brown
(...) <snip> (...) (although I note on the "CBN" page there's a lot of people's stories that didn't make it; are you restricting it to stories with pictures?) thanks, James (23 years ago, 5-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist —Chris Maddison
<snip> (...) No, not at all. As I mentioned in the post a week ago, people just need to email castle_world@hotmail.com with the link to their story, and it will be added to the list. -Chris (23 years ago, 5-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist —Adam Murtha
The main page and map page loaded fine for me until I got this error "The web site you are trying to access has exceeded its allocated data transfer" and now I can't get anything. :( (...) (23 years ago, 5-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Just a quick update: Wilson Raska's Vincent Gage was the first character to set off for the Isle of Mist, in the Malevolence. (...) (23 years ago, 6-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist —Chris Maddison
OK folks, really bad form to reply to myself twice, but I must say, the hit counter on the site has been shooting up pretty good. Over 800 hits...but only 2 posts from people who aren't me? C'mon, you can do better than that...let's hear some (...) (23 years ago, 9-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist —Anthony Sava
(...) Chris, et al.-- In all fairness, this whole real-time thing is probably shutting some people out. I mean, not everyone has a lot of time to just go out and take pictures on the fly. I, personally, have to borrow the camera I use to take (...) (23 years ago, 9-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist —Chris Maddison
(...) Anthony, thanks for the feedback. It's good to bring up that point. I don't have a camera either, or even regular access to one. So, looks like we're in the same boat. As for the deadlines - You don't necessarily have to have pictures. A post (...) (23 years ago, 9-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist —Leah Cardaci
Well, I finally have a minute of free time, so... Good job to all the admins on the site. The pictures are great, the map is very cool (hmm...those uncovered bits look kind of familiar ;-), and I appreciate the work it takes to keep up the (...)          Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist —Chris Maddison
(...) On behalf of all of us, thanks Leah. (...) See, I don't get this deadlines thing. There *are* no deadlines. It's just realtime - meaning if you want something to happen in the morning, post in the morning. If something's supposed to happen (...) (23 years ago, 9-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist —Leah Cardaci
(...) That makes sense. I must've just gotten the wrong idea from the set time that it takes to reach the isle. I guess my imagination is as overactive as usual. ;-) (...) Cool. I'm glad retroactive stuff is fine. I'm about to post some. :-) (...) (...) (23 years ago, 10-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist —Wilson Raska
Okay, I'm posting because Chris MADE me ;-) j/k. I've been in on the whole project since it's first beginnings, so I don't have any outstanding accolades to give anyone (they've already been given out :-), but I can tell all of you that it will be a (...)      In-character post by Franz, prince and heir of the Lion Kingdom, son of Cleo and Marck. The time: about two moons ago. ----- I open the door and enter the short hallway.         Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist —Brian Kasprzyk
(...) I'm a little confused. I left for the isle of Mist 6 days ago and it still says enroute? I thought this was going to be in real time. Anyone out there... I hope this is not going to be another failing of Castleworld... BK> (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist —Chris Maddison
(...) OK, this is my bad. Let me explain: The *mininum* amount of time it will take by air is four days. The *minimum* amount by sea is a week.
