Re: CW Story of the Week

(...) calling (...) That sounds good. That way, everyone will be featured, and no one will be left out. (...) link (...) That's a good idea, too. Give it a little more variety...;-) (...) -Chris (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW Story of the Week

(...) Right, sounds good. "Awards" sounds kinda weird anyways. Personally, I don't think we'll need to vote on the stories, I think you could just put them up in the order they arrive, then the owner of the story can put the logo on his/her page. (...)   Re: CW, HERE I COME!

(...) Yep, just email castle_world@hotmail.com. If you have a sig-fig, LMK what his/her name is, and send a pic if you've got one. (...) I like it, nice job. The dialect adds to the effect, and the way you told about the "tales of the Titans" made (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW Story of the Week

(...) I'd rather not call them awards... that makes it sound like we're being competitive, or something. I think we can just call it the logo for CWSOTW. (...) I agree, they look great. The one with the sunset is a bit weak, the brown pole fades in (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW Story of the Week

(...) Those are great, Wilson! My favorite would have to be the flames, tho. Great contrasting and complimentary colors! What do you think, Shiri? -Chris (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  CW Story of the Week

I finally have some rough drafts of the "awards" (is that what we're calling them?) up on brickshelf. I put the logo on several different backgrounds to see what it looked like. They could also just have a transparent background, if that would look (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW story of the week?! (was: NINJADA)

(...) story (...) Of (...) Alright, I'll start working on it as soon as I get done mowing some lawns. I'll probably upload the images to brickshelf to see what everyone thinks, I'll let you know when they're up there. Wilson (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW story of the week?! (was: NINJADA)

(...) Yah yah, an award, that's what I meant. ;-) Now, about voting... I'm certainly NOT going to .cgi a voting system or anything. Emails would be fine, so long as they're not directed to my personal address (my inbox is overflowing). (...) Yep (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW story of the week?! (was: NINJADA)

(...) up (...) Actually, it wouldn't be so much of a logo (CW already has one of those), as it would be a sort of award. It would just be given to the person whose story was displayed for that week. Now, this brings up the question of how to and if (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW story of the week?! (was: NINJADA)

(...) Thanks! (...) Yes. (...) Hmm... possibly the CW logo? That already says "Castle World"... so you'd only have to add a "Story of the Week" somewhere on it. (...) Yeah, I hope so too! People who are featured can put the logo on their site, or (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW story of the week?! (was: NINJADA)

(...) I don't know if I'm "very talented" yet, but I could maybe give it a shot. Were you thinking of having this logo on the main CW page? Maybe you can give me some ideas as to what you want to have it include. Wilson (...) Hopefully :) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW Stories (was NINJADA: The Plot Thickens...)

(...) Sure, you can use it. I'll probably be making a few more stories pretty soon now. I have to wait until July to make the big one, because it'll be used as the display I'll be using for our state fair. (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

CW story of the week?! (was: NINJADA)

OK, so this "CW Story of the Week" is sounding better and better by the second. Something in the CLSOTW style... CWSOTW!! Chris and I are talking 'bout this, and we think this is a good idea. We're wondering if there's someone very talented out (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: NINJADA: The Plot Thickens...

<snippage> (...) I know that when I'm in charge of updates and maintenance, the easiest way to do it would be the first listed <look up there>, and then, when done for that week, we could just put the story in the "archive," along with it's author, (...)   Re: NINJADA: The Plot Thickens...

(...) Hrmph. I knew I was forgetting something. Wilson also had his story about Locke, I recall... Wilson, do we have your approval to use it? Also, Chris (M.) will probably take over the updating while I'm gone; and when I come back, well, (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: NINJADA: The Plot Thickens...

(...) That's a good idea. I'll be having some "out-of-place" stories too, to explain the past, some of them will be told by a different character (Daphne) and it will not be immediately clear what it has to do with the present... but eventually, (...)   Re: NINJADA: The Plot Thickens...

(...) Thank you! I took what you and a few RTL lurkers from overseas said to heart... in my enthusiasm to post something, I didn't make the narrative aspects clear. Basically I had to change alot of verb tenses and add some quotation marks along (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: NINJADA: The Plot Thickens...

(...) Wow!!! I took some time to read it intently, that story is bee-utiful! I love it. The fact that it is now told by a specific person (can't remember if it was earlier) and all those little details.... great story! Reading this, I can't help but (...)
