Re: Land Ho, An Isle of Mist story

(...) Nice! Very, very nice! I enjoyed reading it immensely. Everybody is giving you advice, so I guess I will too... Mine would be: just run it through Microsoft Word. That's what I do with my stories, and they rarely have any errors now. :) -- (...) (23 years ago, 14-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Land Ho, An Isle of Mist story

(...) Hi Cale!! The story gives a good introduction to the main characters. Good job! I like the little exposition about Joshua and Catherine's past, and yet you manage to keep Catherine seem a bit secretive. An air of mystery around her motives. I (...)   Re: Land Ho, An Isle of Mist story

(...) Sounds good so far! I do have a few suggestions, though. ;) First, the last paragraph is way too long. It really needs to be broken up a bit. Also, you may want to print out some hard copies and get people to make corrections. That should help (...) (23 years ago, 14-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Land Ho, An Isle of Mist story

This is just a teeny, tiny, not so much that anyone would notice bit late, but I finally got around to Writing a story about my character's arrival on the Isle of mist. (URL) I'm not a practiced story teller so any feedback would be appreciated. I (...) (23 years ago, 14-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: IOM: Question about story/model combination

(...) Well, I like the stories more than anything, so it doesn't matter to me too much if it doesn't have pictures. :) If you want to go back and take pictures later, go for it. :) Jeff (23 years ago, 14-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: Brief IOM update

<posted to lugnet.castle.org.cw> (...) Cool! The first permanent structure (not to say that a cabin isn't permanent, but stone is always more stable :) (...) First of all, I see that (URL) is finally back up. I really like your site, and I look (...) (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: IOM: Question about story/model combination

(...) Personally, since we are all lego-centered, while stories might be fun to read, I am personally interested in legos more so than anything. That's why I hang out here ;) As far as RT - I would say to not worry about it too much. While it's cool (...) (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  IOM: Question about story/model combination

I was just wondering what the general opinion of stories without model pictures was? I'm finding myself coming up with great story ideas, but not having the time (due to my job right now) to build the models to go with them. As it is I'm 4 days (...)   Re: IOM: Prologue to Adventure

(...) Well, due to popular (well, okay, popular isn't quite the word) demand, I took some pics of my airship-in-progress at the Wamalug meeting this weekend: (URL) the center mast is in the proper position, the other two are just there so I can get (...)   Re: More Elias and Blade ...

(...) Ooh, aack, ouch! At least that kind of problem is immediate and obvious. One question, though: was there smoke? FUT: off-topic.fun (fun? geek? whatever) -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: IOM: Jais Redwulf's journal of the expedition to the Isle of Mist

(...) Actually the lack of people already in the North is what made me decide to go there. I wanted some new area to work with. Now I just have to find time to build scenes to go with my stories... Jason (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: More Elias and Blade ...

(...) Heehee! Having read "1984" just a few weeks ago, I'm still thinking in terms of... "Oceania is at war with Eastasia, Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia..." so yes, the ships are not there and they never have been. The next step is to (...)   Re: IOM: Jais Redwulf's journal of the expedition to the Isle of Mist

(...) Hey-ho! Welcome aboard. I'm lookin' forward to hear more about these newcomers, and am glad that the north was not left (almost) uninhabited. It is still the least populated area, but hey, right on for braving the tundra! Wishin' you well, (...) (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: More Elias and Blade ...

(...) Thanks for the feedback - I will take it into account when writing the third short comic. The ships are now edited out. So ... were they ever there?   IOM: Jais Redwulf's journal of the expedition to the Isle of Mist

08, November We reached the Isle late in the day. We appear to be on the North end of the Isle, but so much of it is obscured by this Mist that it's hard to tell. Oldric and I made a quick journey around the area where we put to shore. Nothing (...) (23 years ago, 11-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: More Elias and Blade ...

(...) Most excellent :) I think it looks great all edited and prettied up like that, and I hope to someday make pics that look as nice as those! I like the "comic" format as well. I think it flows better then the "Picture and Caption" style. And the (...) (23 years ago, 11-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)
