Since everyone seems to have an opinion on the new Legends series, I thought
it would be fun to have a little poll on which sets we want Lego Direct to
release for its next Castle Legends (or Classics, for that matter) offering.
(understanding, of course that this may be a ways off) In the FUN nature of
this excersise, let's keep the criticism and critiques of other people's
choices to a minimum, no matter how unlikely you think their choices may be.
(You want the Witch's Windship? Fine. Yellow Castle with original helmets?
Great.) Let's also try to limit ourselves to THREE sets, since, after all,
most of us wish every set ever made was still in print and available from LD!
Here's mine:
6062 - Battering ram. Lots of castle walls and corners, 3 Black Falcons, 2
Crossed Axe & 1 Lion Crusaders. And it "plugs in" with the Guarded Inn!
6066 - Camouflaged Outpost. Another great low-pricepoint set that features
6 of the highly regarded original Forestmen, including black, red, and blue
ones. Also has the black feathers. 6071 (forest lady + each of the
forestmen, but no black feather) would be just as good.
6040 & 6041 two-pack. (Drat, I'm already cheating on my own 3-set limit
rule!)The Blacksmith & Armor Shop. Two great complimentary small sets(under
$10, originally). They "plug in" to each other and to the Guarded Inn.
Each comes with rare elements, such as the black sword and pitchfork. Since
you are not reissueing the packaging, you could release them together in one
box for one price!
Now I'm anxious to read everyone else's want list!

| 6077 Knight's Procession - six of the coolest generic knights around! 6060 Knight's Challenge - two horse bardings, a peasant, two white dome pieces, etc. 6080 King's Castle - my favorite Castle set. | Here’s what I think… The next installment of the Legends line will be Space or Town. Not Castle! Since the ‘Legends line’ is a -tri-annual- series, the next theme to follow will likely be of another system. ( I'm hoppin’ for Pirate) Only next year (...) I'd also like to see (yeah, I know, I'm breaking the three set limit but I don't want to just be a "me to" guy here): 6061, the Siege Tower. Castle walls in the modular form (...) I'd rather have the Seige Tower than the Battering Ram from the sets, but from an overall point, I like the more complete wall and tower from the 6062 and extra figs. I'd be happy with either. | I would have to agree with you on the 6040,41 pack. I think that would be a great way to package the 2 sets and make it at least worth while. Though each set seperately would be cool too! 1680 or 1877 both basically the same set.. so take which ever (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.dear-lego)

| I would like to see: 1906 Majisto's Tower I never hade one, but I would realy like many of them :) 6074 Black Falcon's Fortress I just love Falcon's! | My number one choice would be 677/6077, they still use all these molds and so many people would buy them, I bet this wold become the number one army type of AFOL Kingdoms.
