  Nearing 3000th post :)

I noticed we are getting nearer the 3000th post every day, in an incredibely fast rate. Just for interest, I checked out the 2000th, 1000th and 3rd posts... (third because first two are charter and ToS.) The 2000th message was already about CW! (...) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Viking Hats

(...) You're both right -- haven't you seen Mel Brooks' classic movie, "History of the World, Part One"? At the end of the film, we get a sneak preview of (never-made, and most likely never intended to be made) "History of the World, Part Two." (...) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Probably. :) (...) If one of 'em did, you'd be complaining about me, not Larry. :) Either that or you wouldn't hear from me 'cause I hijacked the truck... ;) Jeff "You can't be a hero hiding underneath your bed" (URL) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Nearing 3000th post :)

(...) Oh my goodness!!! Are there really 6086's somewhere?? Where are they? =) I'm a little excited here. I had a great castle collection going in the 80's, and now I'm trying to catch up! Would it be possible for anyone to pick up an extra? I'd cut (...) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  A great castle story page

I got e-mailed by Jeff Huit and checked out his site. Great stuff! The true essence of story telling with inserted pictures. Some highlights that caught my eye: 1) The monk. Simple modification on the head ... great robes. 2) The toilet paper rolls (...) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Nearing 3000th post :)

(...) Oh oh ... I was hoping that this whole thing would be one big joke. These were just some of the things I "predict" will happen at the 3000th post. Although I wish that some of them would be true, none of them are ... So yeah ... Michael is (...) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A great castle story page

wow! I had to breeze through it quickly but it looks great. (note the links: I totally agree with his only link, and the reasoning as well ;) btw, why doesn't Jeff use heads/hair? And, is he a lurker? Jeff, are you there? Your site looks amazing! (...) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Hoods

I was looking at the parts in the 6038... and I got to thinking.. the hoods the WolfPack guys wear have been in 3 different sub sets of Castle.. Classic (...)   Re: Hoods

(...) Maybe *because* they root back so long ago, and they are no longer available... (...) Why? Verneer wears a forestman hat, and it looks good :) (IMO) The 6038s are really excellent, see my review... I advise them (whether you use the hoods or (...) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Ditto, but I'd never let real flame get that close to valuable 'figs... (...) That bugs you too? I can never do that. It looks too wierd. :) (...) There's lots of us here. We're gonna take over the world! Mwahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!! :) Jeff (...) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Using the "Dragon Helm" on WP guys looks pretty good, IMO. I've got a couple Wolfpack Knights, 'cause I needed the cowls for my Heralds. See my webpage for the results. Jeff "Broken sword and shield and tears that never fall" (URL) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) I think he's talking about the discussions on the map and stuff I was having with Craig. I must admit, at times, we didn't sound totally pleasent. :( Anyway (and Craig, I'd e-mail this to you if my server wasn't down), I've decided to wait (...)   Re: No gimmicks, just some free background images

(...) I must have missed the clearing up, then. All I saw was some pretty harsh words, or maybe they seemed more harsh than they were, in light of all this other mess. Still to harsh for LUGNET, imo. (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.castle)

Re: No gimmicks, just some free background images

(...) You're right. I thought they were too much as well.
