  Re: Common Castle Standard

Hey George! I'm glad to hear about your interest. Last weekend a group discussion at Brickfest 2003 created a castle village standard that would aid in creating displays. In many ways it is inspired by the Train and Space standards, but in other (...) (21 years ago, 15-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Common Castle Standard

I am new to the world of AFOL and only recently have begun to work my way throught the maze of LUGNET News but I wonder if anyone could help me out. I was very interested in the disussion of a standard for building modular castle scenes like the (...) (21 years ago, 15-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Only 20 years of waiting

Hello! It took me only 20 years of waiting and I'm already able to build the Castle scene from the Idea Book 6000 (which I herewith upheave into the Olymp of all-time legendary LEGO releases. Worship!) [LEGOSet 6000] When I was a child I never had (...) (21 years ago, 15-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Lord of the Rings: Helm's Deep

Hi all, I actually put this up this past weekend but figured I'd wait a bit for Brickfest buzz to die down before announcing. Anyway . . .   cute Brickfest story...

Hi. I was in the castle room, and keeping a close eye on the kids in there while some of the other participants were doing stuff elsewhere. There was a boy, who was probably between 5 and 8. (Didn't find out exactly how old he was), and when he saw (...) (21 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.people, lugnet.castle)

  BF Dragons

Hi all, I've enjoyed looking at everyone's pictures from BF. It looks like while last year's castle theme was (by design) village life, this year's theme was (by chance) dragons, dragons, and more dragons! Did anyone get a group shot of these (...) (21 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: CastleWorld Website (was re: CBG)

(...) I only want to preserve the existing CW as an archive, that's all. (...) No compromise is necessary, we could start from scratch. It could be totally revamped -- a NEW Castle World. (...) Yeah, I have to agree. (...) Two problems here: a) we (...) (21 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

  Re: The Little Armory

(...) James, The "pins" for the visor are reversed. The helmet actually has the "bumps" for attachment. I personally didn't want the divets on the helmet. So when the helmet is worn(without visor), it looks like rivets on the sides. But that's just (...) (21 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

A happy Medium resolution to Castle World.

<Snippage> Anthony Sava's original message to Richard Marchetti: (...) I don't find it too bad. The overall site navigation is fine. The initial welcome screen looks flat and slightly boring.   CastleWorld Website (was re: CBG)

Richard, First let me say that I'm glad you stepped into the CW admin role when you did, and am glad the site has been preserved. But I don't think we need to respect the wishes of people who haven't been apart of the community for 1 year +. Nothing (...) (21 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

  Re: Castle Builder's Guild

(...) I am not sure if we are thinking along the same lines. When I said that there should be a community castle site I was not thinking of a "castle standard page" but a website similar to iltco or fbtb. A site with many different castle related (...)   The Little Armory

Now, as a LEGO semi-purist, I did have some reservations at first about using non-LEGO minifig weapons. However, once my Orcs got a hold of the weapons, they held me at sword point until I changed my mind. (URL) I guess I'll be using Little Armory (...)
