These Roman catapults were similar to my catapult. Well, I should say mine
is similar to their's :-)

Thanks for this explanation! I wasn't even aware of the term 'trebuchet'.
Maybe I should have searched after it in google instead of

You are right, this catapult arm works well. But I don't like form parts
like this too much but try to find a 'real' LEGO solution.
