Kyle, you still around? I went back to this message to do some research on
the Sculpey process, but your web page seems to be inaccessable now.
I recently chopped off the camail on some "flair" helmets to get more norman
looking helmets. Liking this, my eyes fell on some leftover Sculpey from a
project my son had for school. One lumpy looking sugar loaf helm later, I
went hunting for my dremel. Any words of advice or directions to your old
information?
I'm just lightly toasting (275 in the toaster oven for a couple of minutes)
to get the stuff firm enough to dremel (to misuse a trademarked name). I
just find an old minifig head and slap the Sculpey directly on to that (the
constipated guy from Wild West, or those funky Bulls heads) for now.

| (...) Bruce (and others), I have pretty much been lurking around at LUGNET and not actively building anything. I did draft up a quick (primitive) tutorial to help people get started on sculpting custom helmets for their minifigures. Perhaps it might (...) (22 years ago, 16-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle)
