  Re: Himoda Temple

That's a great battle arena, plus one of the best Japanese buildings I've seen. Great work! (22 years ago, 28-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: MM Basil's Artisan Shop

Tony, Always looking for new uses of otherwise lame parts that we've gotten extra pieces of. They're from the SW pod racing sets but have been used in other sets like the Alpha team. Thanks, ACPin & Sons (...) (22 years ago, 28-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Himoda Temple

Hey, That's great. Your walls and moat look just like some real castles I saw in Japan. My favourite is the garden with the lantern in it. regards, Mark (...) (22 years ago, 28-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: MM Basil's Artisan Shop

(...) Awesome! I especially dig the use of those wing/vane thingies as roofing...really inventive & creative use that many might overlook in typecasting the piece. Looks great, and festive! Love it!   Re: Himoda Temple

(...) Awesome model! Especially like the japanese temple design and the palm tree accents to the side. (printed parts are nice too. How many of them did you place on the model? I'm guessing around 80, counting both sides.) I particularly like the (...) (22 years ago, 27-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: Himoda Temple

Wow, that's huge! You've done the whole bridge/moat/hill thing very well. The little decorations are also very nice, and the walkways are very cool. The wrestling/fighting ring is cool, too. Wonder what all those scorpians are for. Poor (...) (22 years ago, 27-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: Himoda Temple

Wow, quite impressive! This is very well done. That is a lot of printed brick slopes pieces. This temple flows together very well. What did you use as the interior support for the hill the temple is built on? The scorpion pit looks like a scary (...) (22 years ago, 27-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: MM Basil's Artisan Shop

Very cool! I have been waiting to see this since the teaser pics you released a while back. I am a sucker for blacksmith shops. It seems like every one is different. I am an amatuer blacksmith myself so I guess that explains it. I liked the "coal" (...) (22 years ago, 27-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Helms Deep

Like Bruce's son, I thought the movie did a good job of adapting Jon's Lego models to the screen. The movie's Meduseld was closer than their Helm's Deep and is still my favorite. It's a good lookin' wooden hall either way. for reference... (URL) (22 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle)
