Re: Weird Logo Issue at L3P Quality Level 3  [DAT]

(...) Hi Richard, Do not blame Lars. Look at the contents of the 4869.dat file and try to replace this line 1 16 0 0 -52 1 0 0 0 0 1 0 1 0 stud.dat by this line 1 16 0 0 -52 1 0 0 0 0 -1 0 1 0 stud.dat Does this solve your problem? Friendly, Damien (22 years ago, 6-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Weird Logo Issue at L3P Quality Level 3

Hey Y'all: If you render the element 4869.dat with L3PAO quality level 3, as far as I can see you get the logo reversed. Other elements render fine. See: (URL) the aforementioned jet engine insert rendered next to a 2x2 round brick. The logo is (...) (22 years ago, 5-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

i do see what you mean. it seems as if my colors are always a little dark using the lgeo librarys, but the detail makes up for it, and photoshop usually gets it to where i can live with it. -tk "Fredrik Glöckner" <fredrigl@math.uio.no> wrote in (...) (22 years ago, 3-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) I don't think I said that. At least it was not my intension. What I meant to say was that the standard colour/surface definitions in L3P / LGEO need some tweaking to get those results. Fredrik (22 years ago, 3-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Fantastic renderings ! Both ! The Brazil 3D-Studio and the POV-Ray. Now the question is: how can we "normal" users (without Silicon graphic equipment ;-) ) make SO NICE renderings ?! For example I'm using ML-Cad, L3PAO, LGEO parts library and (...) (22 years ago, 3-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) Depends on what part it is and how it was oriented wrongly. For example, for the 6536 "Crossblock", I added a rotate statement to the very end of the declaration of "lg_6536" in the file "lg_6536.inc" from LGEO. You'll find that the (...) (22 years ago, 3-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)
