  Re: New LeoCAD version

(...) You can either add them to one of the existing categories by using the Pieces Library Manager, or right click in the pieces toolbar and uncheck the "group pieces" option. I just went through all pieces and made sure the ones that currently do (...) (20 years ago, 21-Mar-06, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

  Re: New LeoCAD version

(...) Hi, first of all I'm very sorry that I didn't answer your post but I've been very busy in the past with other thinks than Lego. Now I'm back Brick-ing and CAD-ing and remembered that there was an open question... Yes, I miss some colors: (...) (20 years ago, 19-Mar-06, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

  Re: New LeoCAD version

(...) I do plan to add more colors, but I'm not sure how I want to do that. I believe that having a small set of colors is better for some people while others would like more control so I have to either find a balance between both or have a (...) (20 years ago, 2-Nov-05, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

  Re: New LeoCAD version

(...) Hi, thanks for doing one more great think for the community :-) I installed it and there are no problems yet. The mouse feature I have to test several times to say more about it. But I have a question: LeoCAD now supports 28 colors. Do you (...) (20 years ago, 2-Nov-05, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

  New LeoCAD version

Today I uploaded a new LeoCAD version, it features several bug fixes and new features. The most important change is in the way building with the mouse works, I hope you'll find it more intuitive and easy to use now. You can download it from (URL) (...)   Re: Can you help a new user?

(...) Thanks for the replies. I see everything that you mentioned. I can even look through the inventory. I just can't get a brick to place. I am a little computer dumb. How does one update the drivers? (21 years ago, 3-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

Re: Can you help a new user?

Do you see the red outline on the main window and the text "Main" on the top left corner? Do you see the preview of the piece on the right side? This sounds like a driver problem to me, do you have the latest version of your video card drivers? (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

Re: Can you help a new user?

Hi Gerry, (...) Maybe you moved the workspace before adding part and it was not visible? Anyway... - Open a fresh new LeoCAD instance - Click on "Brick 1x1" in the right listbox - Press "Insert" key on the keyboard (this is the only way to add new (...)   Can you help a new user?

Hi, It has been a long time since I have posted here. Anyways, I was wondering if someone can give me some tips on leocad. I downloaded the program and installed it. Everything seems to work fine other then I can not place any bricks. The insert (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

  LeoCAD part list utility

When LeoCAD reads a file, it discards all parts that are not present in its part library. To be able to keep track of unofficial parts used by the author but that are not in standard library, I have written a little utility to establish a part list (...)   Re: is leocad not developed any more?

I don't know why you think that, I posted on the LeoCAD mailing list last week trying to track down a bug and the parts update on the website has all LDraw updates included. I haven't released a new version in a long time, but I keep making small (...) (22 years ago, 5-Aug-04, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

Re: is leocad not developed any more?

(...) Well, the last message from Leonardo Zide (the developer) is from January. There hasn't been an update for over a year so it looks like it. I think he's simplt too busy on the moment......... Fortunately some other people 'do' the part updates (...) (22 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

Re: Unofficial LeoCAD parts update #17

(...) I wasn't even aware they existed, but now that I try them see that it is the same as for Leocad. (...) I think I did that a while ago on my previous machine, that's where the experience came from. Jürgen (22 years ago, 27-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

Re: Unofficial LeoCAD parts update #17

Ha, my post certainly stirred up some folks out there! I just want to let you know that allthough I'm not a mac user I simply prefer Leocad above (for example) MLCad because I think it's simply more intuitive and works a lot faster. I know that (...)   Re: Unofficial LeoCAD parts update #17

(...) No. It started out as a viewer, but I added an LEDIT compatible editor mode a long time ago. (...) You can do it that way by putting ldglite in polling mode. In fact that's what I initially thought would work best for me. But the poll and (...) (22 years ago, 27-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

Re: Unofficial LeoCAD parts update #17

(...) But isn't Ldglite just a viewer, compared to the editor Leocad? That said, it seems to have the advantage of actually working, so maybe Emacs + Ldglite would be a viable way to edit Ldraw files. Last time I tried Leocad it crashed after a (...)
