Re: LDraw and LEdit source code?

(...) Yeah, I looked DOS Mesa and if I recall, it was no longer being maintained. I could be wrong about that though, but the CVS logs on SourceForge seem to contain many references to removing "old and broken DOS build support". Don: (...) Interest in the original LDraw and LEdit programs. ;-) (...) Mesa doesn't work on DOS?!? According to: (URL) is among the supported systems (through contributed drivers). Jacob (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: LDraw and LEdit source code?

(...) Whoah! DOS version? Where did that come from? I think I asked about that once upon a time but there wasn't much interest. (URL) problem with a DOS version is finding decent opengl and glut support. I went as far as tracking down a possible (...) (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: ldraw.org's MOTM & SOTM for November

Rick: (...) There were some problems with the e-mail system on the LDraw.org server (mostly due to a damaged disk on our firewall), which should have been solved by now. Terry, I emailed you my entries almost two weeks ago. I sent another email, forward of the one on 10-21, today and it bounced back? What is up? Rick (...) (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: LDraw and LEdit source code?

Mark: (...) No. :-( (...) I think LDGLite is fully LEdit compatible by now (and works on Linux/Alpha systems), so it is probably worthwhile to look into adding the (if any) missing features to LDGLite. I don't know if LDGLite is distributed in a DOS (...) (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: ldraw.org's MOTM & SOTM for November

Terry: (...) Don't worry. I didn't notice it myself anyway. It was much more worrying that you wrote "a split second after midnight", when it is actually a whole minute after midnight. ;-) Play well, Jacob (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  LDraw and LEdit source code?

Is the source code for either LDraw or LEdit available? It would be nice if somebody updated them to be able to view .MPD files or made it so LEdit could handle type 5 lines. (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

ldraw.org's MOTM & SOTM for November

Here goes. Thanks to our sys-admin Jacob Sparre Anderson, the new voting system for the Model/Scene Of The Month is up and running.   Re: LDraw History - here's one for the old timers in the group....

(...) Some more dates: September, 1999 Datsville (at first LCADville) was born. Although Datsville never went as far as I (and others) would like to have seen it go, I think it made an important contribution to seeing what could be done with LCAD. (...)   Parts Tracker - Using L3P-check to scan submitted files

Hey y'all- I'm just sort of starting to get to adding L3P-check'ing to the Parts Tracker submit function.
