Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release —Christopher Masi
(...) Do you watch movies on it? I could easily see a 22" display serving as a TV replacement :) (...) Me too. Shift clicking and command clicking do not select multiple parts in MBC 2.1. Shift or command dragging doesn't select anything at all. (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release —Andrew Allan
(...) This is strange as shift-clicking to select multiple parts works fine for me, I verified this last night on version 2.1b1. However a thought came to me later during the night that I haven't yet been able to verify: while I haven't deliberately (...) (21 years ago, 19-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release —Christopher Masi
(...) I bet that I will think it is super cool. snip (...) Very weird. I just checked again, and I even rechecked mouse behavoir. Neither the mouse nor the track pad will do multiple selections by shift clicking. I have noticed in the past (in a (...) (21 years ago, 19-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

(...) Doesn't work on my G5 desktop with a 2 button mouse, not matter which buttons (r/l) or which shift/control/option...right/left keys I press. Just seems to be gone. James (21 years ago, 19-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release —Andrew Allan
Very curious??? A question, can you select multiple parts in the text editor using the shift key? This routine is handled by the NSDrawer manager not MBC, so it may at least see if it's my keyboard mapping. Additionally, do these other keys work? 1. (...)          Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release —James Reynolds
(...) Yes, that works. (...) No. Rotates the model as if there was no option key pressed. (...) Parts move when clicking and dragging, but holding down the apple key does not rotate the model.           Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release —Christopher Masi
(...) in reference to shift selecting multiple bricks (...) I just checked Mac Lego Modeler (MBC v0.1), MBC 0.2d1, MBC 0.5d2, and MBC 2.0b1. None of those older versions of MBC shift select for me. I simply assumed that shift selecting hadn't been (...) (21 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release —Christopher Masi
(...) Yes, I can use the text drawer to shift multiselect. (...) Nope, option clicking doesn't do that special rotation. (...) Nope, the command key doesn't reactivate model rotation. Chris (PB G3... I'm all for that mapping "delete" key to clear (...) (21 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release —Jim Green
I played with MBC for the first time last weekend and I had to stop and do a dance of joy! Thank you, thank, thank you! The thought of having to buy Virtual PC again just to work with OS X, loading it and Windoze, and then working with MCAD in slow (...) (21 years ago, 26-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Jim, Some great feedback, keep it comming. Rather than tackle uour suggestions, one by one, I've kept them and you will find many incorporated in future releases. There is a new release on the blocks - give me a few more days, this version has a (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release —Tom Bozzo
(...) Echoing Chris and Jamess, I tried the all 4 shift keys (built-in and USB external keyboards) and both the trackpad and USB mouse buttons to no avail. (...) Sounds good. (...) I'd appreciate that, thanks! Tom (21 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release —Anton Raves
(...) How about mapping the Backspace or Delete keys (beware of Powerbook owners) to the "Clear"-command in the "Edit"-menu for deleting selected pieces...? :-) Greetz, Anton (21 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)
