| | Re: Removed BFC in LDView 4.1
|
| (...) Hi Joerg, LDView toolbar is now user configurable, and its default setting now targets general public audience. Right click on the toolbar, and choose "customize" to configure it for your needs. Otherwise I'd suggest you join the new LDraw (...) (13 years ago, 10-Jan-12, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | Re: Parts Cataloging Program
|
| (...) Well, it's not *that* big'o'deal: GIF is restricted to 256 colors. If you convert down to 256 colors, will PNG give compression on par with GIF? If it doesn't, you can always look into BMP/RLE. FYI, here are some links into the MS (...) (25 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| In lugnet.cad.dev, Lance Hopenwasser writes: [snipped description of the situation] (...) *Eventually*, I'd expect there to be a 3648a and a 3648b. That is, if the other version is ever rendered for LDraw (assuming it hasn't already). In LDraw, when (...) (22 years ago, 2-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.db.brictionary, lugnet.db.inv)

| (...) Yes, I like it. However, is it different from the way we decided to number the search paths? Last I remember, we decided to stick them in the generic [LDraw] section and number them like this. [LDraw] LdrawSearch01=<HIDE>...MyPrims\In Work (...) (20 years ago, 9-Aug-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | Re: Thoughts on File Format for LDraw Animation
|
| (...) Yes, this is what Anders was trying to get me to understand. The MPD framework provides a name visibility barrier (scope). I still say that LDraw type 1 lines are used to specify hierarchy. The <file> names within the MPD can be used to (...) (19 years ago, 27-Oct-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | Re: OMR Planning - Almost There
|
| Tim: [ About instructions from non-Lugnuts. ] I wouldn't let non-Lugnuts post to Lugnet through ldraw.org. We should rather let them upload to ldraw.org, and let the OMR editors post the instructions to lugnet.cad.dat.models.sets if they qualify. To (...) | | [Parts Tracker] New FAQ: Part Numbers
|
| See: (URL). Chris Dee has written an awesome FAQ about the ins and outs of part numbers for the LDraw.org Parts Library. Every parts author should review this material - there are some recent changes documented. Thanks, Chris! Steve (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | Reporting on LDView for Mac OS X

| As I'm getting back in the swing of all things ldraw, I tried out the Mac OS X version of LDView ((URL) Pretty cool viewer - works well on my G4 running 10.3.7. No crazy interface artifacts.
