  Finally Saw It!

Hi LDraw.org Team, I finally saw the site. (I had to use my mom's connection at school- Mindspring still won't let me through :( I thought it was excellent! You have done a great job putting it together. I liked all the links being in one place. And (...) (25 years ago, 10-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

New Construction Toy In LDraw Format!

K'nex is now available in .dat-file format! Over the past couple of months, I have built a library consisting of 17 parts and 8 primitives with which you can make virtual models of K'nex constructions. And of course it is fully renderable using L3P (...) (23 years ago, 10-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  Re: Purposes of the Organization

(...) My intepretation of this statement is that LDraw.org will not maintain the file format. Rather, a separate group (I believe the LSC) will be in charge of the file format.   Wanted: LDMerge beta testers

Thanks to an inquiry from Michael Heidemann, I've written a little utility called LDMerge. I'd like to have one or two other people test it before it is released just to confirm that it works as intended. LDMerge is a console tool for temporarily (...)   Re: Datsville continuation - more ideas

Here's a first working version of what I was thinking about: (URL) *.box files have to be in the P, Parts, Models, or LDraw BaseDirectory. The boxes.lst file has to be in the LDraw BaseDirectory. Will it make life easier for the POV-Ray engine? (...) (23 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.ray)
