  Re: MPD format

(...) i understand... and i too prefer the win apps... that's why i'm writing some of them for the community... and i believe wholeheartedly that we should abandon the original LDraw and LEdit completely at some point, once the proper replacements (...)   Re: Feature requests for LDraw/LEdit v. 2

(...) hehe.. in 3DS it's called "A-B subtraction" or "B-A subtraction".. and those are *intense" routines to write... he he.. damn, everyone just needs 3DSMAX.. J (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LDLite 1.7 suggestions

(...) i second that... a stop feature would also help when using the -T option... some models won't let me close the LDLite window while rotating.. i have to go into Task Manager to get LDLite to stop... J (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

You could, but I haven't opened anything but the 7150 TIE-Fighter/Y-Wing. And that doesn't have the big new wing plates. Steve (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: star wars wings

They're not out here :-( I made the rounds yet again this weekend to no avail. I could send what I've got so far to Steve, if he wanted to finish it. All that's left to do is the side-wall along the angled side. -John Van jonathan wilson wrote in (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: MPD format

(...) L3P will treat an MPD file in a Type 1 line exactly as it treats an MPD file as the main file (top-level file). L3P's nature is recursive. An MPD file is just another way of storing sub-files. In stead of loading sub-files from the usual (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: MPD format

L3P uses this state-machine: Initial state is HEADER. ____Type of input line_____ Oldstate Bad line 0 FILE valid HEADER HEADER MPD DAT MPD E+MPD MPD MPD DAT E+DAT W+MPD DAT E: Skipping bad line W: LDraw commands preceded this 0 FILE This pragmatic (...)   Re: MPD format

Ooopppps, I guess that's where a winking smiley would come across better. Ledit and ldraw are pretty good, I do prefer ldlite and ldao modeler, though. Easier to use special views and maneuver in. I just like a windows interface better, though I (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Don't forget that in an MPD, anything before the first 0 FILE should be ignored (on the assumption it's notes from the author, and e-mail message, or something similar). Steve (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Problems with LDAO, L3PAO

  Re: small ufo saucer hulls

(...) I've had it, in very draft form, for quite some time. If someone is interested in picking it up from me, to at least finish mocking-up, let me know.   Re: what is wrong with my parts?

Jonathan, My view of releasing 'official' parts for LDraw is that it is both a service to the online LEGO community, and it is an on-going memorial to James Jessiman. (...) Hollow, solid, or tube-shaped? I'd also like to see discs, arcs, spheres and cones. And some spline-thingy, I suppose. How about boolean operators? INTERSECT, UNION, and whatever's the proper term for "All of A that's outside of B". Steve (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
