    "Needs Work"- Needs Work —Adam Howard
   We need to set some kind of time limit for parts that 'Need Work'. I was looking through the parts list and found one that was in a 97 update. And it still needs work. The flower parts are another example. When will these 'Needs Work' parts be (...) (24 years ago, 7-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

     (...) Hmm. I've been thinking about various things that need attention in the parts library, and how those things could be publicized. A "Things You Could Do" page might be a good thing.    I would like to bring under your attention that in the past year some "Needs Work" parts actualy have been fixed by authors other than original ones. And recently myself and other people did review some parts that didn't have the "Needs Work"-tag on (...) (24 years ago, 12-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Yes, but according to my, possibly unreliable recollection, those parts where rejected or withdrawn before voting (during submission time), or as a result of the discussion, but not as a result of a actual vote. The particular part I've been looking at was released in mid-1998, and it seems apparent that the tools available at the time had a big impact on the ability of the author to be thorough in modeling.
