I'm not sure if I agree with that. Looking at the 8251, a 1999 set, it
looks like it has a rectangular slot:

But then again, I haven't got the 8251, so it may very well be that the
parts included have the circular hole. I dunno.

| (...) I don't have _any_ of these older sets. :-/ But, in checking the samples of 2853 I have (20+ free/not in models), all but one have the rectangular slot. I *might* have surmised from that that the rectangular slot variant is likely the newer (...) (25 years ago, 31-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
