Meanwhile I finally managed to find some code examples for offscreen rendering with OpenGL on a Mac. I have no idea if it works or not (...) Christopher, your new bug, (...) actually I have also encountered this one, but as yet have been too lazy to do anything about it. Huzzah! Sorry for the delay... Holidays and all. MOTM for December is Jeff Kiser's "Piano Keys". An intriguing concept, better explained now with Jeff's text. I wonder if it could actually work? I think I did something else that you never anticipated :) select part select ³Change Part Name...² look up part number elsewhere accidentally click in LDRAW Viewer window off of brick when returning to LDRAW Viewer (deselect brick) enter part (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Well, I got tired of opening files with BBEdit and setting the file type to text, so I hacked (and I really mean hacked) together a little Droplet (an AppleScript application that is drag and drop aware) to convert the creator and file types to (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Happy New Year! It's a few minutes after midnight, ldraw.org server time (ie, GMT). The final parts update for 2002 is now available. This is update 2002-06, a small package of just 54 files. I just noticed that L3P and LDRAW Viewer do not play well together. Running an LDRAW Viewer file through L3P produces a ".pov" file that contains only 1 black brick. On a hunch, I ran the LDRAW Viewer file through BBEdit and saved the file with Unix (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

I uninstalled Fruit Menu to see if it was the source of my crashes, but now after using contextual menu to change color of a brick, mouse clicks register about 30 pixels to low. Still no answer on the box primitive naming conventions. For my spoked wheels I needed a new primitive, like the box3#8.dat but with all adjecent edges. I named it box3-2.dat (Box, 3 faces drawn, 2 edges left out), but how should I name it so I can (...) (22 years ago, 29-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)
