  Red Cross Pattern  [DAT]

Here is a subfile for bricks with the red cross pattern Unsure of what name to give it but since it's a pattern I was thinking it should start with the letter p. 0 Red Cross Pattern 0 Name: prc.dat 0 Author: mkennedy 0 BFC CERTIFY CW 4 4 -3 0 1 3 0 (...)   Re: Part 57792 sans spiral

(...) Really good work, but please use 16 or 48 for the cylinder and do not combine both, as this results in visible gaps. cu mikeheide (16 years ago, 21-Oct-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

  Part 57792 sans spiral

Hi all, Just letting people know I've done most of 57792 but not the internal spiral (which is why I've not uploaded it). I'll probably try to add it sometime but in the meantime I thought I'd upload what I've done to save duplication and provide (...) (16 years ago, 21-Oct-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

Re: Looking for part - Hinge Arm 2x2x6

(...) Yes, please send it direct to my emailadress. But as I said, don't expect a perfect part. cu mikeheide (16 years ago, 7-Oct-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Looking for part - Hinge Arm 2x2x6

(...) Hello Mike... Many thanks for your offer of help. I dimensioned it as best I could with a ruler as I don't have any calipers available at the moment. If you can build some type of mock up that would be great if you have the time. I have a (...) (16 years ago, 6-Oct-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Looking for part - Hinge Arm 2x2x6

(...) I don't think that there is a file for that at present. The only information I found was this thread ((URL) it is a compound part it is much more difficult than other parts. If a mockup will work for you I can create one (maybe only dimensions (...) (16 years ago, 6-Oct-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Looking for part - Hinge Arm 2x2x6

Hi.. I'm trying to see if the .DAT file exists for the following part: Hinge Arm 2x2x6 with click rotation socket and black pin (Peeron lists as x514c01) I have not been able to find a part number on the part itself. I am working on an animation (...) (16 years ago, 5-Oct-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Slope Brick 1x1

(...) LEGO name on Factory Pick-a-Brick is "Roof Tile 1 X 1 X 2/3" Philo (16 years ago, 1-Oct-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Slope Brick 1x1

(...) I agree. So both LDraw and Peeron should change the name. I see that the name has been changed allready on the partstracker of both part 50746 and 54200. What is the official LEGO name for the part or doesn't LEGO name it's parts anyway? Do (...) (16 years ago, 1-Oct-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Slope Brick 1x1

(...) With the notable exception of the 45 degree slopes, none of the other slope parts have exactly the inclination used in the part description. Note that all have a small vertical section (or step) at the front which causes the angle to deviate (...) (16 years ago, 30-Sep-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  61409 - Slope Brick 18 2 x 1 x 2/3 Grille  [DAT]

Hi all, Just whipped up this mockup for 61409 and thought I'd share it. I don't currently have the part handy and I wasn't sure if the little bump in the middle should be explicitly modelled but it serves as a pretty useful mockup for most models. (...)   Re: Help with Patterns

(...) Unfortunately, I don't think that T-junctions can be made visible in MLCad, since I don't think it has a wireframe mode. However, if you use LDraw Design Pad with LDView in polling mode, you can set LDView to wireframe, and the T-junctions (...) (16 years ago, 27-Aug-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

I was wondering if you upload a more concrete example using a lego editing tool and show what the difference would look like between the three examples using one of them - it would be helpful to me to be able to see something that (...)   Re: Help with Patterns

(...) It's the same thing. Actually, it's worse -- rect.dat has edge-lines. So it can't be used in place of a quad. Generally, avoiding t-junctions is harder when working with primitives - you have to know where the outside vertices are on the (...) (16 years ago, 26-Aug-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) [SNIP-SNAP] Travis, this is a fine explanation! How about uploading a more formal version to the tutorial page (URL) or the specs (URL) (16 years ago, 26-Aug-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Help with Patterns

  Re: Help with Patterns

(...) You know what, I just figured how to manipulate rect.dat - do those make a difference with 'holes' or is it the same thing? (16 years ago, 26-Aug-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Help with Patterns

(...) Ok so for reference I'm going to try to link you to brickshelf where I've uploaded an MLcad screenshot (URL) is where I'm at - I did actually notice the 'holes' talked about in the article when moving the image around in Mlcad. hope this works (...)
