If you didn't use it, have a look to Quad2dat
(http://www.geocities.com/calano/lego/download.html), this may help a lot!

And to reimport what you already did, you may use Dat2qp:

So how do I get Quad2Dat files back to a .dat file?  Is there a reversal switch?
