  Re: New Parts Category? Sport?

(...) The only reason I included the holders and the bricks is that their primary use is for sports models. Pretty much any piece out of this line could be used outside the sports line (except the balls). Just thinking off the top of my head, the (...) (21 years ago, 1-May-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: New Parts Category? Sport?

(...) I would if I had a HP set with a Quidditch hoop. Quidditch is a sport, so it fits in perfectly anyway! ;) John (21 years ago, 1-May-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: New Parts Category? Sport?

(...) I dont see a problem with the exception of the holders and 8x8 bricks as these can be used for not sport models. But the basketballs, gloves, etc.. are very specific in their use and therefore would warrent a sport category. Steve is the parts (...) (21 years ago, 1-May-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  New Parts Category? Sport?

Hi all, While perusing the parts library last night, I noticed that none of the pieces specific to LEGO Sports (Basketball and Soccer/Football) have been modeled yet. I may start a few of them soon, but would like to know if we should agree on a (...) (21 years ago, 1-May-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: minifig arm

(...) Thanks. It is, indeed, the new ones I have. They don't fit flush at the shoulders and they overlap the body near the elbow, but this may be fixable with a rotation. I'll see how the minifig generator assembles them after I've finished this (...) (21 years ago, 27-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: minifig arm

(...) Yes, and if you are complete you have both. 981.dat and 982.dat are the newer ones in the book, they appear when loading a recent file and when using MLCad v3.0 minifig generator. 975.dat and 976.dat are the obsolete ones that appear when (...)   minifig arm

I'm working my way through the LEGO Software Power Tools book (I'm new to MLCAD) and I notice the minifig arms illustrated in the book are different than the ones I have available. The ones in the book are tapered nicely, while mine aren't, and they (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Bionicle Masks

(...) Also, has anyone made the feet (#32475) and the "toes" (#32560) from Pohatu's feet (which are also used in Jengo Fett's Slave I)? (21 years ago, 25-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Bionicle Masks

(...) If any one is working on them, here's your chance to let it be known. I have 11 pcs of #32571 (Gali - blue), 5 pcs of #32566 (Onua - black), 7 pcs of #32505 (Tahu - red), 1 pc of #32505 (I forget the name - poisoned), 2 pcs of #32569 (Kopaka - (...)   Re: Bionicle Masks

(...) You can send me one as a test and I can see what I can do. But I don't know what the time frame would be for completion - we're mid-semester here and I don't have tons of time to work on LEGO. If the timing was better, I could've given the (...) (21 years ago, 24-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Help needed with creating parts

(...) Hi Jeroen: I think I'm missing something--are you asking for someone to render models or to create new parts? Dave! (21 years ago, 24-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Help needed with creating parts

(...) I know it's not a good idea, but it's for the trainposter and detail isn't priority there; the trains are about 200 pixels high. Again, I can send high-res scans of the BI and pictures of the parts. If you are really intrested in doing it I (...) (21 years ago, 24-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

jeroen de haan <info@digitalbricks.nl> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:HDtI4o.14K6@lugnet.com... (...) I can only speak for me, but making parts (no patterns) only from pictures isn't a good idea. Maybe that this is sufficient for mock-ups. Which (...) (21 years ago, 24-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Bionicle Masks

(...) They're available to whom ever wants to do the work coding them. They're all my extras from trying to collect all the variations of the original masks. I could even send a few of each so that one can be cut one way and another can be cut in (...) (21 years ago, 24-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Help needed with creating parts

Hi all, Can someone help me out creating some (mock-up) parts based on digital photo's and/or high resolution building instruction scans? They need to be done quickly and POV-friendly. No need for detailing the insides, this time it's the outside (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Bionicle Masks

(...) Do you mind if they're destroyed? It's easier to measure them if you don't care about having the piece be intact afterwards. Alas, I still don't know how to code in .dat - only in .dwg/.stl/.3ds. If you could find someone to clean up the parts (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Bionicle Masks

(...) AFAIK, no one has done them yet. It would be nice if someone could volunteer. They're rather complex parts to make, though. (I'm not a parts author myself) -Tim (21 years ago, 23-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Bionicle Masks

(...) I've been wondering that myself. I have many to offer to mail to people if they need/want them (for CAD work.) -Dan (21 years ago, 23-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Bionicle Masks

Hello everyone. Has anyone done Bionicle Masks? Thanks. (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
