I'm a little bit confused with the values for the MLCAD Spring Generator. I find the total height value, enter it in, and the spring it generates is actually 2 LDU longer than what I entered, even with no start revolutions. I add start revolutions (...) (...) you can do that but if you are using the web interface, just click on the "[DAT]" tag in the header of the post, and when the "save as" dialog comes up, save it as a file in a convenient place for you to work with it in your favorite tool. Very nice! I saw the picts as I was browsing the recent additions on BrickShelf and took a few minutes to admire your work. I especially like the red spiral. (...) The main file is Town.ldr The subfiles of Town.ldr are 15 separate sections, unfortunately not as modular as the Moonbase Project for example, and Townpeep.ldr with some people and vehicles. All hoses at the Datsville Petrol Station have mysteriously disappeard. Some believe the hoses have been captured by aliens, others blame hooligans from the cricket ground. (...) I usually put a cannon on the poop deck using a 4x4 turntable. You may want a plate underneath so the cannon clears the studs on the railing. It works best if the turntable overhangs the poop deck by one stud (forward). Then you can still (...) I'm hooked on Pirates again (Thanks to the game @ Brickfest) and I need some Cutters, so I used the instructions from 6277 to make a virtual one. I still need some sails, but I'm close. (...) The problem is with LUGNET's code to return LDraw content (the [DAT] hyperlink). It doesn't recognize the .ldr file extension. (...) MLCAD is a very powerful program, 100% LDraw compatible but not the fastest alternative. When making buildings, I recommend BlockCAD. Does anyone have any tips on doing really large models? I am trying to build a city. I have several buildings built, but when I start adding roads and the separate buildings to the scene, MLCAD bogs down. Even when I turn stud rendering off and go (...)
