ok, I didn't have a space in the set command, in fact it looks just like yours.
however, I still get the *** stuff. Does the set command need to go in a specific
place? I'm using the dos edit and then editing c:windows\command\ebd\autoexec.bat
is this the right file?

| (...) Hmm. I have no idea what 'ebd' might indicate. Emergency Backup Data? Anyway, the 'real' autoexec.bat is always located in the root of the boot drive. You want to edit c:\autoexec.bat. You can also type the SET command at a DOS prompt, and (...) (26 years ago, 9-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad)

| (...) Yeah -- I personally feel that DOS hates everyone. :-, (...) ***NOTE THE SPACE*** ---^ (...) You might want to double-check your LDRAWDIR setting. I noteice that there is a space in your text. If that's exactly how you have it in your (...) (26 years ago, 8-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad)
