I don't have Windows VISTA 64-bit or Windows 7 64-bit so can't confirm this. However does anyone know if the following will run on either of these OS? LDraw L3P L3PAO MLCAD LPub Pov-Ray 3.1 Pov-Ray 3.5 Pov-Ray 3.6 MegaPov v.07 MegaPov 1.0 Thanks (...) (14 years ago, 18-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub 4.0.0.10 Available

(...) I would, but since I was only added to commit fixes, I'm uncomfortable posting files. Also, I'm not sure as a non-admin on the project if it's even possible for me to create a release. And since none of the existing releases have been done (...) (14 years ago, 17-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub 4.0.0.10 Available

(...) Maybe one of the 6 developers listed on the Lpub4 sourceforge page could help out? (URL) not sure how the permissions are divvied up, but it'd be really nice if someone could push it through the sourceforge release process so it's available, (...) (14 years ago, 17-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub 4.0.0.10 Available

(...) I have a copy of the latest MAC version (LPub4_0_0_10_MacOSX...rsal.dmg). I have nowhere to post it, but I will gladly forward it to you. If anyone has a a place to post it, I'll send it to you as well. It's a little over 17MB Chris (14 years ago, 17-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub 4.0.0.10 Available

(...) Thanks, Jaco. Would anyone have the MAC version they could forward by chance? If not, are there other means to create printable instructions from files created in Bricksmith that anyone could help out a beginner in this area with? Jonathan (14 years ago, 17-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw.org 2010-03 Parts Update Now Available

(...) Hi Allan, Weird, weird... stu211 and stu213 are low resolution version of (official) primitives stud11 and stud13. They are not strictly required, but MLCad does complain if you use a part that contain stud11 or stud13 (but everything works (...) (14 years ago, 16-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw.org 2010-03 Parts Update Now Available

(...) I’m always happy to see new additions to the LDraw library. However, having just installed the newest version, something seems to be terribly wrong. When I started MLCad I got the report that stu213.dat and stu.211.dat were missing. Using the (...) (14 years ago, 16-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDView and snapshots (Windows 7 64bit)

(...) There are number of things that might cause LDView to be slow in rendering snapshots. None of them that I can think of seems to really fit your description, but I'll list them here anyway. Don't use Pixel Buffer is enabled. This causes LDView (...) (14 years ago, 14-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

LDView and snapshots (Windows 7 64bit)

Has anyone else experienced LDView being extremely slow making snapshots in Win7 (64bit)? The main problem is when run from LPub - then LDView is called quite often, and that's when I first noticed that something was terribly wrong compared to (...) (14 years ago, 13-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub 4.0.0.10 Available

(...) Hi Megan and others, Kevin's website is unreachable for some time now. For the time being I am hosting the latest installer of LPub 4.1.1.10 on my site here: www.binarybricks.nl/..._setup.exe If you have any questions related to working with (...) (14 years ago, 12-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 2552px2

(...) If there were ever a "perfect" example of a good use of texture mapping, I'd say this is it. 5 well-placed photos of the top, front, back, left and right, and you'd be set. The beauty of such an approach is that angles are already taken care (...) (14 years ago, 12-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub 4.0.0.10 Available

(...) Hi Kevin, Is LPub 4 still available to download? I have tired to access www.kclague.net (all links lead to your site, but it seems to be down -Feb. 11th 2011) Is it available anywhere else, do you have your site still? thanks for you help- (...) (14 years ago, 11-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 2552px2

(...) All right, I will try to find some pics of this part. I've already did some patterns for myself, but I had some problems to correctly integrate it on the parts. I mean, it was bad enough not be shareable to the community. If you would like to (...) (14 years ago, 8-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 2552px2

Hi Damien, (...) I have already prepared a "modernized" (mainly BFCed) version of this part ((URL) If you manage to get good photos of the part, we could share the work of patterns creation and integration to the part. Philo (14 years ago, 8-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad)

  2552px2

Hi all, While trying to make LEGO renders as realistic as possible, I'm wondering what would be the best, easiest and fastest way to create the 2552px2 which doesn't exist in the part tracker (none of the patterned 2552 actually). The problem is (...) (14 years ago, 6-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad)

  LDConfig Manager Update (1.0.3.0)

I just released another update on LDConfig Manager. Now I feel that the LDConfig Manager is nearly finished and can be used to generate exact the same LDconfig as it has been done by hand so far. LDConfig.ldr will be saved with 'UTF-8 without BOM' (...) (14 years ago, 4-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.announce)

Re: New version of SketchUp-to-LDraw script

(...) Hi Philo, Good question. In fact, Jim Foltz's su2ldraw plugin does include LDraw-to-SketchUp import and treatment of type 1 lines as SketchUp components (subparts). Unfortunately, I was not able to get su2ldraw to work (SketchUp 8 on Mac OS X (...) (14 years ago, 2-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Sticker background color (request to Standards Committee)

(...) That is why we should stick to the 8.3 length parts file name convention :-) I'm able to run ldraw fully native, on a still operational PC with MS-DOS operating system. (14 years ago, 2-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad)

Re: New version of SketchUp-to-LDraw script

(...) Very interesting... one question before I commit myself to learn Sketchup, is it possible to import LDraw primitives, and build more complex shapes on them? Lack of proper integration of primitives is always what plagues advanced CAD tools (...) (14 years ago, 2-Feb-11, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Sticker background color (request to Standards Committee)
