It certainly claims to. However, if so, its really well hidden.

Just drop your ldraw models into your My Documents/LEGO Creations/Models
directory and then open LDD and click on the model in the open dialog (it
will have a yellow brick as an icon).
To export them append .ldr to the model when saving the model in LDD.
Note that it only works with offical ldraw parts at the moment and will drop
bricks it doesnt know about during the conversion so always keep a backup in
the original format.
Hope that helps,

This is all very promising. There seems to be significant gaps in the available
parts, but the conversion from .ldr to LDD format was really quite fast and
painless.
The creating sets for downloading and buying aside, is it possible to set it up
with a more complete set of parts? It seems to default to the My Trains
pallette, but I can see definite value in a less restrictive pallette, if only
for play value.
