Knight Bus, mini Knight Bus, and any set featuring Sir Danju. Looking at Peeron
inventories, I see the same color listed as
Lilac, Purple,
and Violet,
while Bricklink seems to exclusively list it as
Dark Purple. It’s clearly
not either of the colors accepted by Peeron as
purple or
violet, since it’s much darker, so I’m guessing that Peeron has officially
termed it Lilac. In keeping with the Dark Blue/Red/Green/Orange run, the fact
that it’s easier to identify by that name, and the fact that discussion on
LUGNET back in February referred to pretty much exclusively it by that name, I’m
inclined to go with Bricklink’s Dark Purple over Peeron’s Lilac. Also, I’m not
positive about this, but I think the official LEGO name is 104 Bright Violet,
based on the chart that Peeron is hosting, but none of those chart color
swatches look very accurate on either of my computers except black.
