  Re: New Render

(...) Add more lights, reposition the lights, and/or make the lights brighter. Brighter lights can be obtained by using color values greater than 1. I usually create one main bright light source and then add a few dimmer (and often shadowless) (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jun-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: New Render

Thanks for posting a link to that file again Bram, I had downloaded that file of yours before and had forgotten about it. It makes the colors look much better, in my opinion. Do you have any pointers for making the rendered images brighter? I seem (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jun-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: ldglite 0.9.1 (now with better LEdit emulation) and some bugs

Re: ldglite 0.9.1 (now with better LEdit emulation) err, maybe not...

I guess I should clarify this. The reason I'm asking for feedback is because I'm certain there are bugs in the software. The new LEdit emulation mode is a lot of new code. I need some help to find all the problems. Everyone has different hardware (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jun-01, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Macintosh LEGO CAD/LEGO Designer

Oops, I have to add to my previous comment. I am currently having problems running MLCad with VirtualPC 4.0. MLCad runs for a while and then my entire computer freezes. I will reinstall VPC and MLCad and see if that solves the problem. Chris (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jun-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.dacta)

(...) I've figured out a relatively simple way of working with minifigs in a CAD scene. I copied 979.dat and 980.dat into the MODELS directory, and renamed them minifig_stand.dat and minifig_sit.dat.   New Part - Technic timing wheel  [DAT]

I've been cadding the UCS X-wing fighter, and much to my surprise, the canopy piece HAD been modelled (somewhat complicated) but this part hadn't. It was pretty simple.
