(...) There are better ways, especially if you want to preserve 24-bit color without a 24-bit color display. By default, POV outputs TGA files after rendering, but I don't know where. What you can do if you have Windows 98 is when you have the model in Pov ray hit the Print Screen button (top row, right side). Then open Paint, click on Edit, and then Paste, and boom there it is. I have a really silly question. I finally figured how to use Pov ray a little but I don't know how I would go about saving my finished model after it's rendered, in another file format like jpg. Does anyone know if the handy little LEGO epaulets ("frilly shoulder pieces"?) were ever made into dat files? I've just added a function to LDraw-mode which makes the process of composing a bent 73590.DAT Hose Flexible 8.5L very easily. Here's what you do: Insert the end points where you want them. Here's an example: 1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 750 .dat 1 (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I believe you're supposed to do this with a "regular" explorer window, NOT Internet Explorer. Try "Start/Programs/Windows Explorer", or right click on "My Computer" and select Explore. I just tried it on Windows 2000 and I had to use (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I'm pretty sure there are instructions on how to set this up in the README.TXT file in the ldglite distribution. They should be generic enough to apply to l3lab. The only gotcha is whether l3lab can handle filenames with spaces and parenthesis (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)
