  New Ronin mecha...  [DAT]

Here's the Ronin mecha that's been sitting on my site for some time. I'd recommend getting the balljoint.dat file from my site so you can see exactly how the hips go together. Hopefully, this works. It didn't when I tried to post my Kodiak mecha. (...) (25 years ago, 19-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  MLCad Suggestions

I've been using MLCad and having a lot of fun with it. It's a great program. I do have a number of suggestions that could (IMHO!) make it even better. - Part selection: Put a text entry field between the available parts and the preview area that (...)   Re: My 1st custom highway scene. Thanks Bram!

(...) Yeah, I found it easy to learn the POV syntax too, since I have programmed in C. (...) Yep.   Re: My 1st custom highway scene. Thanks Bram!

(...) You did, but im not a very good coment reader unless I need to. :) It was simple enough to figure out since the general look of pov source looks a bit like c, since I love programing in c.   L3PAO incompatibliity with Win2k? (was:Re: l3p hates me)

Got on update on this situation. Seems that L3PAO is not compatible with Windows 2000 in some way(maybe just on my machine? i dunno). When I booted into Windows 98 on the same machine, and ran the shortcut to the same location, L3PAO worked. All (...) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Getting camera angle, field of view and distance right

(...) In my highway file, I've made it so that most of the L3P params can be changed right in the POV file. You'll still have to rerender to get it right, but that's what the QUAL=0 setting is for... If anyone wants me to, I'll post the snippet of (...) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Getting camera angle, field of view and distance right

It seems to me that one of the more fiddly things in POV is to try to get these items right. Does anyone have any tips or tools? Ideally I'd like to have a bounding box or wireframe of my model that I could interactively turn, twist, zoom in and (...) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Technic V4 Sports Car  [DAT]
