For the Mac owners here in cad.dev I'm making available the first, minimally
useful macLDGLite, which is a port of Don Heyse' last week's source code
(version 0.5.) It has some really ugly aspects, but it can open files and draw
them in orthographic mode (perspective has some defects.)
You are responsible for getting the LDRAW distribution unpacked on your Mac,
somehow. I used Virtual PC. You might need to convert the text file formats, but
you definitely need the P and Parts subdirectories. My app will ask you to
locate this folder the first time you run it, and it stores an alias to LDRAW in
its preferences file (so delete the preferences file if you get into trouble.)
If you set it up in your web browser, macLDGLite will handle the DAT links in
these groups.
Oh yeah, you must have OpenGL installed.
