Wow...I love it. What an enormous untaking. What a great meditative project. Makes me want to try a five-color icosidodecahedral net version. Or maybe some other stellated forms. Your model proves anything is possible.

(...) Thanks! I was very surprised at the strength of Steve's method of joining the triangles. If you're making something *really* large, you might have to brace each triangle with a second set of hinges on the corners. Don't know how well it shows (...) Inspired by Steve DeCraemer's (URL) S.P.U.> (picture by Rob Hendrix) first shown at Brickfest 2003, I decided to build a bigger version.
