  Re: Schwerpunkt a.k.a Focal Point

Dave, I've uploaded some pics of my pathetic MOC to Brickshelf with special attention the use of the tubes. I apologize ahead of time for the crappy pics. This was just an exercise in joint tech and will probably never get finished. Hope it helps! (...) (21 years ago, 15-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Keith, I have no horse and I'm not high. I never said I was the arbiter of anything nor do I claim to be. You asked for unbiased opinions and you got mine. How can you possibly say you don't like it, Mr. Smack-Daddy? YOU ASKED FOR IT. And yes, Mark, (...) (21 years ago, 15-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: JuggerGnat

(...) I have to say this is a very nice suit. Very good poseability. I definitelly see the influence of a lot of other suits I've seen, expecially some Japanese Lego builders. I have been studying the joint tech you used and may use it for the next (...) (21 years ago, 15-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Moonbase Module: Mauser Support Facility

Mmm... smack! Dig the MOC too, you know. Good to see you doin' some inside detailing. But there was no way around it this time, I suppose :) True the Mech is not brilliant, but it get's the job done. Shaun, The minifig arms as fingers are just awesome. I can't comment on the rest because I just keep staring at the hands. Totally bitchin'! (...) While a very fun read from the both of you (my kind of comedy), if this must escalate any more, you boys want to go duke it out in o-t.debate? Thanks. -Chris (21 years ago, 15-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Moonbase Module: Mauser Support Facility

(...) David you just don't get it. Where I come from, smack is the time honored rhetorical tradition of trash-talk, including, but not exclusive to mom-bashing.   Re: Moonbase Module: Mauser Support Facility

Hey Keith, Whether it's five unfolded fingers across the face or a shot in the arm, smack is just bad for you and everybody else. The impression that I get, judging by your writing style, that "smack" is just another way of saying that you have a (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Moonbase Module: Mauser Support Facility

(...) I disagree with j0n on the boxy aspect of your module. Yeah, it's boxy. But it's a good kind of boxy. It's a big monolithic keep-the-little-man-down kind of box. It has a sense of design about it, even if that design is totalitarian. The mech (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  New MOC: JuggerGnat

My first submission to space and/or mecha in ... actually, I don't know that I've ever posted a space-ish MOC before.   Re: Moonbase Module: Mauser Support Facility

(...) Dude, I love this one; makes me want to go build a big grey boxy castle. So clean and lovely on the outside. And nice solar panels (well *I* think they are :-) The mech. Well, it sucks.
